Lord of the Rings Strategy Battle Game: Is it the game for you?

Hi! So, I've done a Is it the game for you? for the Battle for Wesnoth. So I thought I'd do it for something a little more well known. Lord of the Rings Strategy Battle Game (LotR SBG) is a game sold and made by Games Workshop. Its a hobby as well as game, and it takes some time to get your models looking good. So, is it the game for you?

Do you like Lord of the Rings? If yes, go on to the next question, if No, then this isn't the game for you.

Do you like Strategy games? If yes, go on to the next question, if No, then this isn't the game for you.

Do you like the ability to move freely, without squares, using inches and centimeters as moving guides? If yes, go on to the next question, if No, then this isn't the game for you.

Do you like using dice to determine results? If yes, go on to the next question, if No, then this isn't the game for you.

Do you like having terrain, that you can customize and place anywhere, that will make differences in battles? If yes, go on to the next question, if No, then this isn't the game for you.

Do you have the time to build your models, and paint them? (See notes) If yes, go on to the next question, if No, then this isn't the game for you.

Notes:
  • Models have to be put together. Although it is easy, and it takes very little time to do so, it does take time, and you will need some tools, which you buy from the Games Workshop.
  • Armies have everything form the movies and books, plus more.
  • Painting can take time, and can be hard. You'll need proper paints and brushes. Models don't have to be painted, but the army looks way nicer if you do. Luckily, Games Workshop gives lessons and materials.
  • Its a fun game, and the hobby is great. It can be a little expensive though.
