I thought I'd give you guys an inside look on Perfect Dark, a retro-ish game. So,
Perfect Dark is a first-person shooter developed by Rare and made for the Nintendo 64. It has some spin-offs, but I'll be talking about the original.
You play as a Special agent Joanna Dark (ZOMG, a female character? It's like Tomb Raider all over again...). You're trying to stop a conspiracy by a rival organization, dataDyne. The game consists of 17 missions, some of them including aliens (The Skedar, secretly working with DD). You can play co-op or counter-op.
The weapons list are big, with lots of functions like zoom in and tri shot and stuff. Each weapon has a secondary fire.
It is one of the most advanced games for its time. I have it, and its the best game in my 64 pack. Its got multi-player, where you can play against other people or AI. I play with my sister, who likes the idea of playing as a girl, and willingly shoots stuff with machine guns (She like the Uzi, while I prefer the Sniper Rifle).
Notes:
- The list of weapons is large.
- Its awesome to play as a secret agent and an alien butt kicking gunner.
- The storyline is good, and the graphics are also good for their time.
- The multi-player is great fun.
This is a test comment by me, Gamer Geek.
